| Directions | Oral -Clean the tip with cold water and soap, then rinse it. Turn the thermometer on. Put the tip under your tongue, towards the back of your mouth. Close your lips around the thermometer.Wait until it beeps or flashes. Check the temperature on the display.Under the Arm - Place the tip of the thermometer in the centre of the armpit. Tuck arm snugly (closely) against body. Leave the thermometer in place for about 1 minute, until you hear the “beep”. Remove the thermometer and read the temperature. Rectal - Lubricate with a water soluble gel. DO NOT use petroleum jelly.Gently insert the thermometric sensor no more than 2cm into the rectum. DO NOT force the product into the rectum. Stop insertion and abort measurement when pain is present. |
